Coco House and Company is a small sophisticated design firm specializing in high-end, custom interiors and personalized design creations. The firm is based in Gulf Stream, Florida with additional projects in New England, Western-ski resorts and the Caribbean Islands.

The principals, Stefani de Laville and Vee Merklen, along with a select group of Artisans and craftsmen routinely create expertly detailed and carefully layered spaces. Using a sophisticated palette of colors and texture, a selective and varied use of material, along with a complete understanding of special dynamics that create interiors for immediate livable and unique tastes for each client.

Stefani’s sophisticated and precise designs and sensibilities are the accumulation of an American international education and a lifetime passion for travel. Stefani received her training at the American University of Rome and is a graduate of Columbia University with a BA degree in Art History. She is fluent in French and Italian and has spent her professional life living in Italy, France and New York City before making her home in Florida.

Vee grew up in Marseilles, France and Madrid, Spain. Aside from a degree in Interior Design, she acquired her knowledge and life interests from her parents’ extraordinary collection of antiques and accessories. Her expertise is modern classic with eclectic and traditional accents. She has a passion to decorate for delight, comfort and function without rules or boundaries. Vee likes to create peace, calm, casual, personality, balance and to have great fun.
